Chief People Officer at CARIAD - a Volkswagen Group Company

Special guest at our Automotive Software Campus in Berlin: We had the pleasure of welcoming Berlin’s Governing Mayor Kai Wegner and his team from Senatskanzlei Berlin to our new CARIAD office. In Berlin, we are developing infotainment, cloud & automated driving systems for the Volkswagen Group brands with more than 1,000 CARIDIANS.      Together with our works council representatives Laura von Wangenheim, Matthias Huras, Malte Berroth, and Christian Bischke from the northeast region, Cindy Fasanya, Jan Otto from IG Metall Berlin, and my board colleague Peter Bosch, we had an open and honest exchange about the future of work, digital sovereignty, and the role of Berlin in shaping tech innovation. For us at CARIAD, the tech ecosystem in the capital city triggers important new impulses – for example through our cooperation with the coding school 42 Berlin.      I was especially proud to see how deeply our teams impressed with their passion and expertise. Thanks to Oliver Klenke, Johann Hamm, Tobias Worthmann, and Marc Kiebel. This visit was a strong signal: transformation works best when politics, labor, and industry pull together.      #WeAreCARIAD
