This passage from Shoe Dog, Phil Knight’s story behind creating Nike, really stood out to me. “So that morning in 1962 I told myself: Let everyone else call your idea crazy … just keep going. Don’t stop. Don’t even think about stopping until you get there, and don’t give much thought to where “there” is. Whatever comes, just don’t stop.” Even Nike was a crazy idea at one point. Today it's hard to imagine a world without Nike, with their massive culutural presence and market domination. But before all of that, it was just an idea in Phil’s head. The lesson I took away from this: Just get started. We can’t control the outcome, but we can always control our effort. #studentvoices #entrepreneurship #marketing
