Lately, I've started looking at the feeling of being an underdog a little differently. Whenever I'm learning something new and find myself around people who know much more than I do, I often feel out of place. Thoughts like: "𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨." "𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘵." "𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦." start creeping in. Earlier, I used to see that feeling as a sign that I didn't belong there. Now, I see it as a sign that I'm exactly where I need to be. If I feel like an underdog, it usually means I'm surrounded by people I can learn from. And what's interesting is that after a few weeks of reading, exploring, and staying curious, those same conversations that once felt intimidating start making sense. Looking back, some of the things I enjoy the most today started with me feeling completely out of place on day one. That's why I've started appreciating that uncomfortable feeling. It usually means there's something new waiting to be learned. Been through it. Done that. Hope to have many more such experiences. - Raghav Baghla Signing off!
