An importer once got a valuation query from KRA on a shipment of secondhand machinery (routine), the kind that resolves in 48 hours if someone actually responds to it. His clearing agent read it, agreed internally that the numbers looked fine, and decided to wait for “the right moment” to reply, worried that pushing too hard would look defensive. The right moment did not arrive. It rarely does when you are waiting for it. Fourteen days passed. The query sat in a queue behind other queries. The container sat in KPA behind other containers, accumulating storage charges that had nothing to do with the machinery's value and everything to do with the calendar. When the response finally went in (same numbers, same supporting documents that had been ready since day one) KRA cleared it in six hours. Six hours, against fourteen days of silence. Nobody ever explains what the “right moment” was supposed to look like. Mostly because it never shows up. It just gets replaced by an invoice. Radisson Limited handles the moment, not the wait. Talk to us before the KRA query becomes an invoice. 👉 [email protected] Hotline: +254140081628
