It was an honor to both present the Shiftmaker Sports Legacy Award to tennis legend, cancer survivor, and activist, Martina Navratilova, during #WimbledonWeek and to participate in conversations focused on the future of #womenshealth. As both an extraordinary athlete and #breastcancer survivor, Martina’s advocacy continues to reinforce the importance of awareness, access, and empowering women with information to make informed healthcare decisions. Women’s healthcare is entering a period of meaningful transformation. Patients, clinicians, researchers, innovators, and investors are increasingly aligned around advancing more personalized approaches that improve outcomes while elevating the patient experience. Martina’s story reflects many of the opportunities and challenges shaping this next chapter. These conversations also highlighted the growing momentum behind innovation in #breasthealth, from advances in screening and diagnostics to technologies that can support more individualized care. #QTImaging believes that innovation should do more than advance technology.
