This yearโ€™s workshop, โ€œCuriosity as your compass in researchโ€, invited young researchers to reflect on how curiosity can guide their scientific work, spark collaboration, and bring renewed energy to their research practice. The workshop was developed by Lilly M. Verhagen, Sirwan Darweesh, and Felix Hol, with an introduction by Sirwan and Felix. PhD candidate Geert van Weelden then shared how curiosity shaped his own PhD journey, before participants discussed in small groups which facilitators and barriers they experience in their own research. Hosted by Guillรฉn Fernรกndez, the evening offered space for reflection, exchange, and meeting fellow young researchers across disciplines. And of course, no Midsummer Night Event would be complete without drinks and the always enjoyable BBQ ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Thank you to everyone who joined and helped make it such a lively and inspiring evening
