This year, Racyics was once again proud to contribute to the IC Design lecture series by Silicon Saxony with four expert lectures on key aspects of chip design and the semiconductor industry. A special highlight this year: the lecture series took place at the offices of the participating companies. We were delighted to welcome all the attendees for one full day at the Racyics office and share direct insights into our working environment. Lei Meng and Florian Bilstein opened the event with a company presentation. Daniel Kollar continued with the lecture “From Specification to the System on Chip”, followed by Julian M. Meyer, who gave an overview of the “RTL2GDS ASIC Design Flow”. After the lunch break, we again provided insights into our work with a demo session by Florian Bilstein, office tour by Lei Meng and Alexander Persicke’s perspective on the day-to-day work of an IC Design Engineer. Thilo Wagner continued in the afternoon with a lecture on “Design for Test (DfT) – How to Test a SoC IC in milliseconds”, before Love Cederström wrapped up with practical insights into power integrity and robust SoC design. Special thanks to all contributing colleagues. A big thank you also to Achim Graupner from Silicon Saxony for organizing this series, and to Technische Universität Dresden for making it possible. Thanks to everyone who joined us, asked great questions, and contributed to the inspiring exchange. Our presentations gave a glimpse into our work at Racyics, and we look forward to sharing more of our expertise and insights in the future. #Racyics #ICDesign #TUDresden #SiliconSaxony #DfT #RTL2GDS #ChipPackageCoDesign #SystemOnChip
