One of the most powerful — and often overlooked — ideas in Lean is Yokaten. It’s a simple concept: 👉 When something works, don’t keep it local. 👉 Spread it. Share it. Standardise it. Too often, teams celebrate a win in one area… and it stays there. A brilliant improvement solves a problem on one line, one department, one site — while the exact same problem continues elsewhere. Every day our Whatsapp group pings like crazy with improvements. That’s waste. And it’s avoidable. Yokaten challenges us to think bigger: 🟢 If it works here, where else could it work? 🟢 Who else could benefit from this? 🟢 How quickly can we replicate success? It’s not about copying blindly — it’s about learning intentionally and scaling what works. The real power of Lean isn’t just in solving problems. It’s in sharing solutions.
