One of the most powerful — and often overlooked — ideas in Lean is Yokaten. It’s a simple concept: 👉 When something works, don’t keep it local. 👉 Spread it. Share it. Standardise it. Too often, teams celebrate a win in one area… and it stays there. A brilliant improvement solves a problem on one line, one department, one site — while the exact same problem continues elsewhere. Every day our Whatsapp group pings like crazy with improvements. That’s waste. And it’s avoidable. Yokaten challenges us to think bigger: 🟢 If it works here, where else could it work? 🟢 Who else could benefit from this? 🟢 How quickly can we replicate success? It’s not about copying blindly — it’s about learning intentionally and scaling what works. The real power of Lean isn’t just in solving problems. It’s in sharing solutions. Because one improvement is good… But ten improvements from one idea? That’s transformation. 🚀 Let’s build organisations where great ideas don’t stay hidden — they travel.
