Deputy chief executive at Moorfields Eye Charity
I’m delighted to share that I am taking on the new role of deputy chief executive at Moorfields Eye Charity. With the extraordinary support of Moorfields Eye Charity and our community of donors, partners, colleagues and friends, the Moorfields and UCL Centre for Eye Health will open in 2027. This brings to life our once-in-a-century opportunity to transform how we innovate, collaborate and accelerate progress in eye health. This is also a pivotal moment for the charity as it steps into a new role as a national funder, supporting eye health research and innovation across the UK. Working alongside Robert Dufton, my focus will be on shaping and delivering our new strategy, realising our ambitions as a national funder, embedding a culture of engagement and involvement, and bringing the new centre for eye health to life. I care deeply about creating an environment where people can do their best work – turning ideas into actions that make a real difference. This next chapter is an opportunity to amplify this. I’m incredibly proud to be part of this next phase and to work alongside such an amazing team, our board, supporters and partners to deliver impact at scale and change the lives of those with sight loss. The future is in sight, and I'm excited for what lies ahead. Moorfields Eye Charity, Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, UCL Institute of Ophthalmology
