I moved into a new role as Manager, Regional Affairs and Coordination, Asia, within Save the Children International earlier this year, but amidst the upheavals in our sector, it never felt quite right to announce it here. Like many, I’ve witnessed colleagues navigate uncertainty, projects wind down, and teams adapt to new realities. It has been a humbling reminder that progress doesn’t always look the way we expect. Now, seven months in, I am grateful for the learning, the challenges, and the small wins that remind me why we do this work. Leading in these times means embracing complexity while staying anchored in impact. It also means holding space for the grief of what we are losing, while nurturing the possibilities of what we can build next. I remain committed to shaping systems that work for children and communities. We owe it to the people we serve to keep adapting, keep learning, and keep showing up. To friends in the sector navigating transitions or seeking your next opportunity: I see you, and I’m rooting for you. Here’s to the quiet resilience that doesn’t always get a headline but moves us closer to the world we’re working for. #resilience #impact #development
