Some experiences leave you feeling warm, fuzzy and super motivated. Working with Cities for Children in planning their master training for associate trainers was one of those experiences. Such a genuinely committed bunch of people. “Maar nahi pyaar” is a lesson not just for teachers but even caregivers and parents like me. While Madeeha Ansari and Ansa Gardezi had the tougher role in terms of delivering the bulk of the training content -which they did with such grace despite heavy topics- I had the fun responsibilityof designing and conducting a session on “how to be a good trainer”. We used theatre based techniques to work on the presenter’s stance, style and story. Needless to say, lots of fun was had and everyone impressed with their improv skills! Grateful to the team for their trust in me.
