What a semester, and what a meaningful milestone! After almost three years at Iowa State University and working in Extension, I’m honored to share that I have been selected by the ISU Chapter of Gamma Sigma Delta to receive the #ExtensionMissionAward. This recognition means a great deal because the work behind it has been deeply meaningful to me. From the ISU Land Value Survey, the Foreign Ownership AFIDA Portal, the Soil Management and Land Valuation Conference, collaborations with ASFMRA, about a 100 presentations and articles, and many many other projects, I’ve had the opportunity to help share information that people use, value, and trust. It is especially rewarding to know that within this short time, I’ve helped convey information has connected with more than 100,000 attendees and viewers!! I’m incredibly grateful to my amazing Extension colleagues (Farm Management Team), mentors (especially Chad Hart), collaborators, and partners who have supported and shaped this work. I’m also grateful to ISU Extension and Outreach for the reputation it has built over many years: one rooted in service, trust, and practical impact. I also want to recognize the many predecessors whose work laid the foundation for what we do today. Their dedication to serving Iowans and agricultural communities has created a legacy that continues to make our work possible. I’m proud to contribute to that tradition while helping carry it forward in new ways. Thank you to ISU Chapter of Gamma Sigma Delta, the Honor Society of Agriculture, for this recognition. I’m excited to continue serving, learning, and contributing to work that makes a difference. #ISUExtension #IowaStateUniversity #Extension #Agriculture #LandValues #FarmManagement #CommunityImpact #Outreach #Gratitude #StrongIowa Iowa State University - College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Iowa State University Extension and Outreach - Agriculture and Natural Resources Ag Decision Maker - Iowa State University Extension and Outreach
