At this week’s QTC employee Townhall, it was great to have Dr Matthew Peter, Chief Economist at QIC, join us as part of a panel featuring some of Queensland’s leading economic experts.   Matthew joined in conversation with Michael Anthonisz, QTC Chief Economist, and Dennis Molloy, QTC Head of Sustainability, Economics and External Engagement, Funding and Markets, for our panel discussion Navigating a shifting global economy. Together, they shared their views on the outlook for inflation, economic growth and interest rates, the impact of global conflict on financial markets, and what these dynamics could mean for Queensland.   The discussion was led by Susan Buckley, QTC Managing Director, Funding and Markets, and provided our people with insights into the challenges and opportunities shaping the economic environment ahead.   Thank you to Matthew and the panel for contributing to an engaging and insightful Townhall conversation.
