Beau almost didn't believe her own work was good enough to even enter. Now it's hanging in Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art. 🎨 The Brisbane School of Distance Education grad is one of 40 students whose work features in the 2026 Creative Generation exhibition. Being chosen for the Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Visual Art has shifted something in how Beau sees herself and her work. ‘I've always been a perfectionist and super critical of my work but having my artwork chosen has quieted that self-doubt and given me the confidence to move forward with a whole new mindset,’ she said.
