Built in Québec, running in New York! 🚌 Québec's Prevost, part of the Volvo Group North America, is set to deliver its 1,000th coach to the New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The coaches that carry New Yorkers daily are manufactured in Sainte-Claire, Québec, a community that has built motorcoaches for a century. ⚜️ We were proud to celebrate this milestone at Rockefeller Center alongside leaders from Prevost, Volvo Buses, and Nova Bus, including Jessica Lazarus, Chief of the MTA's Rolling Stock Program. Earlier that afternoon, Anna Westerberg, President of Volvo Buses, led a roundtable on the future of sustainable transportation in North America, moderated by our attaché Frederic Langlois, alongside Francois Tremblay, President of Prévost and Prevost Division of Volvo Group Canada Inc, and Paul Le Houillier, President of Nova Bus. Political and economic leaders from across the region joined the conversation. A good example of what the Québec–New York economic relationship looks like in practice, in the streets of this city, every day!
