This March, the Quantum Coalition is making quantum computing research accessible to everyone with QRISE: the Quantum Research and Industry Skills Exchange. We have been working with our sponsors at the frontiers of the quantum computing industry, including QuEra Computing Inc., Unitary Fund, Classiq Technologies, Microsoft, and Infleqtion to propose accessible quantum computing research projects that are relevant to the industry. Participants will learn about quantum computing and work on these open-ended projects in teams of up to five over the course of the six-week period, with the chance for top projects to be evaluated directly by industry sponsors. QRISE will be entirely virtual and is open to everyone! The event will include workshops from each of the sponsors to train you on cutting-edge quantum computing tools, speakers who work at the forefront of quantum computing, and opportunities to network with the community at large.
