On April 17th, QPerfect attended the #ForumQuantiqueDéfense 2026 at École Polytechnique, organized by the Agence de l'innovation de défense with our CEO Philippe Blot, Quentin Dosch and Aymane Hassani present. The event brought together key stakeholders across government, industry, and academia, the forum focused on a central challenge: translating rapid advances in quantum technologies into deployable, mission-relevant capabilities. Discussions highlighted several technical priorities: • The transition from NISQ-era experimentation to fault-tolerant quantum computing (FTQC) • The emergence of hybrid HPC/QPU workflows for optimisation and simulation • The need for robust, use-case-driven benchmarking beyond qubit counts • The critical role of software layers in enabling integration into operational systems These challenges reinforce a key point: scalability and validation are now bottlenecks for quantum advantage. At QPerfect, we address these bottlenecks by providing high-performance quantum simulation and error-correction capabilities. Our MIMIQ platform enables realistic modeling of quantum algorithms under noise and hardware constraints, while the Quantum Logic Unit (QLU) targets scalable fault-tolerant architectures. We thank the organisers and participants for the depth and quality of discussions, and look forward to continuing to contribute to advancing quantum computing toward practical, defence-relevant applications.
