Today, on #Heritage_Day, we take a moment to reflect on where our journey began and why it continues to matter. Since 2013, our organisation has been dedicated to preserving the rich cultural and oral heritage of communities at risk. What started as a small, committed effort has grown into a vibrant platform celebrating the diversity of the global Syrian diaspora. We have worked closely with voices from across communities — including Kurdish, Armenian, Assyrian, and Palestinian — recognising that each story, memory, and tradition is part of a shared and evolving cultural tapestry. At the heart of our work is a belief that heritage lives through people. By documenting personal narratives, creative expressions, and everyday memories, we aim to safeguard not only the past, but also the ways it continues to shape identity, belonging, and resilience today. We warmly invite you to explore our projects through our website, where you can discover stories, archives, and creative outputs shaped by contributors around the world. We are especially excited to see a growing community of younger Syrians engaging with their heritage in new and meaningful ways — reinterpreting, preserving, and carrying it forward.
