šŸ—¾ Last week, we returned from an inspiring trip to Japan for JSNM 2025 in Kyoto, followed by a visit to Kanazawa to meet our collaboration partners in the CONTENT project. šŸŽÆ Our joint goal in the CONTENT project, mapping normative metabolism with FDG PET/CT and comparing it to patterns in malignant lymphoma and lung cancer, with and without cachexia, felt more tangible than ever. The discussions were sharp, collaborative, and full of new ideas that will push our work forward. šŸ£ And beyond the science, incredible hospitality, unforgettable meals, stunning landscapes, temples and even a calligraphy lesson that reminded us of the importance of keeping curiosity alive in every form. šŸ™ A sincere thank you to Hiroshi Wakabayashi, Xinzhu Yang, Chau Vu, Yao Jianwei, Satori Takeda, and Junichi Taki for welcoming us and hosting us in your beautiful (but rainy!) city, Kanazawa. Grateful for the partnership, the learning, and the momentum. Excited for what comes next. šŸ‡ÆšŸ‡µšŸ‡¦šŸ‡¹
