Traditions start here.​ ​ In this week’s Principal’s Blog, Founding Principal Dan Clark reflects on how the heritage and traditions of QE Barnet will take root at QE Dubai Sports City, and the shared moments that will give a new school its sense of belonging.​ ​ Following an Eid-break visit from Mr Neil Enright, Headmaster of QE Barnet, Dan explores the cadence of community: the high days and key moments, House events, performances, competitions and celebrations of achievement, that give a year its shape, alongside the events of the UAE calendar, from National Day to Flag Day, that root our students in the country they call home.​ ​ He also looks at the House system as a structure for shared endeavour, the everyday routines that quietly become traditions, and the pride carried in a school uniform, available to order soon, with a pop-up shop opening at the school from late June.
