استضاف مجلس يــارد سعادة السيد سعد بن علي الخرجي، رئيس قطر للسياحة، في لقاءٍ حواري مع الطلبة القطريين في المملكة المتحدة، تحدث خلاله عن أولويات قطاع السياحة ودور السياحة في المساهمة في الناتج المحلي، إضافةً إلى الموضوعات ذات الصلة بمستقبل القطاع السياحي في دولة قطر. حضر اللقاء سعادة الشيخ عبدالله بن محمد بن سعود آل ثاني، سفير دولة قطر لدى المملكة المتحدة، والسيد فهد بن محمد الكواري، الملحق الثقافي، إلى جانب عددٍ من المسؤولين. ويأتي هذا اللقاء ضمن مبادرة مجلس يــارد، وهي مبادرة طلابية تهدف إلى تعزيز المحتوى المعرفي لدى الطلبة من خلال لقاء المسؤولين في دولة قطر والتعرّف على تجاربهم وخبراتهم، بما يسهم في توسيع آفاق الطلبة وتعميق فهمهم لمختلف المجالات ‏Yard Majlis hosted His Excellency Mr. Saad bin Ali Al Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism, in an engaging discussion with Qatari students in the United Kingdom. ‏During the session, H.E. spoke about the key priorities of Qatar’s tourism sector, the role of tourism in contributing to the national economy, and other topics related to the future of tourism in the State of Qatar. ‏The meeting was attended by H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Kingdom, Mr. Fahad bin Mohammed Al Kuwari, Cultural Attaché, along with several officials. ‏The event is part of the Yard Majlis initiative — a student-led platform that aims to enhance students’ knowledge and engagement through meetings with Qatari leaders and officials, providing opportunities to learn from their experiences and insights, and to broaden students’ perspectives on various national and developmental fields.
