English below 👇 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐥𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐭, 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐞𝐥𝐤𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝. 🤝 Vandaag start Solidarity Sparks, een nieuw Europees project onder leiding van Hogeschool PXL en gecoördineerd vanuit PXL-Research – PXL Centre for Civic Safety and Resilience. Met steun van de Europese Unie en het Interreg Meuse-Rhine (NL-BE-DE)-programma onderzoekt Solidarity Sparks hoe burgers, vrijwilligers, hulpdiensten, lokale besturen en crisisorganisaties beter kunnen samenwerken bij overstromingen, bosbranden, stroompannes en andere noodsituaties. De uitdaging is duidelijk: tijdens crisissen willen veel mensen helpen, maar spontane hulp is niet altijd makkelijk veilig te coördineren. Daarom ontwikkelt en test het project: -      Een grensoverschrijdend model voor vrijwilligerswerking -      Een digitale talent-matchingtool -      Telecoaching om vrijwilligers op afstand te ondersteunen -      Pilootacties, opleidingen en crisisoefeningen -      Praktische tools voor gemeenten, hulpdiensten en crisisorganisaties - 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬. 🤝   Today marks the start of Solidarity Sparks, a new European project led by PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts and coordinated by PXL-Research – Centre for Civic Safety and Resilience.   With support from the European Union and the Interreg Meuse-Rhine programme, Solidarity Sparks investigates how citizens, volunteers, emergency services, local authorities and crisis organisations can work together more effectively during floods, wildfires, power outages and other emergencies.   The challenge is clear: during crises, many people want to help, but spontaneous help is not always easy to coordinate safely.
