I came home from the Galápagos evangelical. As expected. I also came home with a conversation I didn't expect to be having. Because here's what the brochures don't really say: the Galápagos is extraordinary *and* physically specific. The Zodiac landings. The volcanic terrain at the landing sites. The overnight in Quito at altitude before the cruise. None of this is a problem — it's the point. But it's also the part an advisor owes you before you book.
