Unlocking the full potential of Transit-Oriented Development in Ho Chi Minh City    On 31 March, PwC Vietnam, through the Green Cities, Infrastructure and Energy Programme (GCIEP), funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, partnered with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Planning and Architecture to successfully conduct a Capacity-Building workshop on Developing the Technical Guidelines for Transit-Oriented Development (#TOD).    The workshop took place as Ho Chi Minh City’s accelerating investment in urban rail and mass transit systems alongside new policies to promote TOD as an integrated urban development approach. The workshop brought together over 150 participants from central and local government authorities, urban rail authorities, investors, and consulting firms. PwC Vietnam was represented by Ms. Giang My Huong, Director, Capital Projects and Infrastructure, Deals and GCIEP Country Director in Vietnam.    The highlight of the workshop was the draft Technical Guidelines, which has reached an initial completion stage. The handbook is expected to lay an important foundation for the planning and development of TOD in Ho Chi Minh City. Clear and well-defined technical regulations are seen as a critical enabler to unlock private sector investment and advance commercially viable TOD projects.    PwC Vietnam, through the GCIEP Programme, is pleased to support the development of the TOD Technical Guidelines.    👉 Read full article: https://lnkd.in/gTBnBKFW    Green Cities, Infrastructure and Energy Programme | UK in Viet Nam | Abhinav Goyal | Huong Giang | Linh Nguyen | Thuy Le | Cong Le | Thuy Lieu   #PwCVietnam #GCIEP #TOD #GreenCitiesAndInfrastructure #TransitOrientedDevelopment #UKVietnam
