Vietnam accelerates in shifting automative industry​ ​ Vietnam is ranked as the second-fastest growing automotive market in ASEAN-6, according to PwC’s Autofacts® Market Update – March 2026. In an interview with Vietnam Today, Mr. Patrick Ziechmann, Head of Automotive ASEAN Centre of Excellence, PwC Malaysia, explains why this momentum marks a turning point in the region.​ ​ He notes that Vietnam’s recent growth reflects strong demand fundamentals amid technology disruption, geopolitics, and competition.
