PhD student: Time-resolved optical and X-ray spectroscopy of colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals

🔬 A great step forward for #lead_free_perovskites research at PSI Paul Scherrer Institut - SwissFEL! We recently completed our week-long beamtime at the Alvra endstation of SwissFEL. Here we probed ultrafast hole dynamics in Cs2(Ag-Na)(Bi-In)Cl6 #double_perovskite colloidal nanocrystals by monitoring Ag L3-edge #XANES – a key step toward understanding how these materials respond under photoexcitation. A major milestone for the project. Now it’s time to dive into the data analysis. More updates soon 🔍 Huge thanks to everyone involved in making this beamtime a success. Special thanks to the Alvra team: Camila Bacellar, Claudio Cirelli, Philip Johnson, Emma Beale, Florian Dworkowski, and Sam Perrett. And to our tireless dream team: Elisa Collet, Alejandro Serrano Capote, Adam Ćwilich, Gözde Ceran, Dogu Seyda, Jacopo Pinna, and our leader Łukasz Kłopotowski. I am also very grateful for the support of Maksym Yarema, Nuri Yazdani, and the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. What a fantastic collaborative effort!
