Captain Vikram Batra led from the front, capturing key positions against impossible odds, and gave his life so that others could live. His words still echo, 27 years later: "Yeh Dil Maange More." He wasn't just a soldier — he was courage personified, a leader who inspired his men till his last breath, and a reminder of what it truly means to serve the nation before self.
