📍 Last Friday, our colleague Lisa Schemmerling joined the German Rebel Cell of Corporate Rebels as a guest speaker at Bayer's HQ in Leverkusen, sharing an impulse talk on steward ownership, followed by a fishbowl discussion open to the whole Rebel Cell. 👉 Two thoughts to take away for anyone who wasn't in the room: 1️⃣ Steward ownership can be a fitting model to protect self-managing systems for the long haul, rather than watching them unravel in moments of ownership change or when owners' convictions shift. 2️⃣ The beauty of steward ownership reveals itself not in the legal structure (alone), but when we create coherence between how a company is organized and how it is owned.
