CHICAGO, IL — Interludes Extra presents Talk on Tuesdays, closing out Season 6 with Episode 616, featuring rising Chicago South Side creative MARXELLE, an emerging filmmaker, musician, and storyteller using art to amplify truth, healing, and overlooked voices. Recommended by former guest and friend of the show Veronica Hickman, MARXELLE joins Val “The Voice” Johnson and Coach Tony Thompson for a season finale conversation centered on music, filmmaking, Black creative expression, and the power of telling stories with intention. MARXELLE recently presented a short film at The People’s Film Festival in Harlem, adding another layer to his growing creative journey. As both a filmmaker and musician, his work reflects honesty, memory, movement, and a deep spiritual foundation.
