📍 Samsung SAFE Forum, San Jose, May 28 Physical AI is only as trustworthy as the silicon underneath it. This week we are heading to San Jose for Samsung Semiconductor Foundry's SAFE Forum at the Partner Pavilion of Samsung Semiconductor US Campus. The theme this year is The Nexus for Silicon Intelligence which captures where the industry is heading: AI is moving out of the data center and into the physical world. Robots, autonomous vehicles, edge inference, industrial automated guided vehicles. Machines that perceive, decide, and act in real environments. Samsung is making a serious push to be the foundry of choice for that wave. SF2 is in mass production, SF2P is ramping in 2026. The Cadence chiplet platform for physical AI, of which eMemory is an IP partner of, is being built on SF5A. The NVIDIA AI Factory partnership with Samsung extends the collaboration into manufacturing, mobile devices, and robotics. The strategy is clear: deliver a complete, ecosystem-ready foundation for the SoCs that will run physical AI at scale. ⚠️ But intelligence without trust is a liability. A robot that can't prove its identity is a security incident waiting to happen. An autonomous vehicle with extractable keys is a recall waiting to happen. A connected medical device with a guessable random number generator (RNG) is a headline waiting to happen. That's the gap eMemory's NVM IP and PUFsecurity's PUF IP fill. 🛡️SAFE-qualified silicon building blocks that give every physical AI SoC an unclonable identity, on-demand keys, and a hardware root of trust, built into the die on Samsung's nodes, not bolted on later. The faster these blocks are proven, the more confidently fabless customers can commit physical AI designs to Samsung silicon.
