Creating impact by the Mediterranean. Check. πŸ–οΈπŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ’»πŸš€ This week we were invited to facilitate our very first impact workshop abroad. And the setting could not have been more fitting. Right on the Barceloneta waterfront sits Norrsken Barcelona, one of Europe's largest impact hubs: 1.300+ founders who make up one of the most inspiring communities of changemakers we've come across, held together by a team that takes changing the world as seriously as it gets: in both purpose and business. And the office view? No words needed. Over two sessions, we worked with a group of dedicated founders on their impact strategy and the funding opportunities that open up once impact becomes measurable. Together with our dear friend Veronica Celis Vergara of Barcelona-based supply chain risk and ESG intelligence platform Valumia, our founder Alexander Hertel covered the foundations of impact theory and then moved straight into hands-on work. Canvases were filled. Hypotheses were built and abandoned. Brains were (productively) overheating. Exactly how it should be when you're trying to change the world with purposeful businesses - and scale them to compete in real markets, without compromise, but always toward a bigger goal. We're deeply grateful to these founders for their energy, and to Noelia Almagro SΓ‘nchez and her brilliant team at Norrsken for the chance to contribute to the work they're doing. It was a blast. We'll be back for sure. πŸ’– Want to join one of our workshops? Take a look at our Public Value Academy, now running in five cities across German.
