🔧They received a real public sector challenge. No theory. No sandbox. Just one bold brief: “Build something that works. In 8 weeks.” 👇 Here’s what happened. That’s how the START Public Makers Lab began. What followed was a full-on GovTech Speedrun. Three interdisciplinary teams dove headfirst into workshops, agency feedback sessions, late-night prototyping, and some serious problem-solving. Last week, the journey culminated in a final pitch night at a remarkable venue: the Staatliches Museum Ägyptischer Kunst München. 🎤 Jana Janze opened with a striking analogy: “Something is rotten in the state of Denmark,” she quoted Shakespeare, not to dramatize, but to spark urgency and action in digital governance. 🎥 And yes, we’re building momentum: With video messages from Digital Minister of Bavaria Dr. Fabian Mehring and Landeshauptstadt München Head of Economic Affairs, Dr. Christian Scharpf, it’s clear this isn’t just a student project. We are a growing community, bold, hands-on, and taken seriously at the highest levels. And the prototypes? Let’s just say: they speak for themselves. 📣 We’ll be introducing each team and their solution in the coming days. Stay tuned, this is just the beginning. Cosmin Constantin Bodea Heidi A.
