Looking back at the Micro-Masterclass with Zaim Sari ✨ On June 1, we had the pleasure of hosting Zaim Sari from the IT department of the city of Munich for a Micro-Masterclass on the digital future of public administration in the Bavarian capital. The three major learnings from the event that stuck with us: -The importance of building internal public-sector capacities rather than outsourcing -The need for a user-centered service mentality at the heart of the public sector of tomorrow -The idea of sensitive design as a way to make digital services truly accessible and inclusive. One challenge that stood out was #DigitalSovereignty. As Zaim pointed out, if governments and public administration rely too much on external providers, they risk losing core competencies and becoming dependent. Building and maintaining expertise within public institutions is therefore crucial. After the input, the audience took the lead. Many thoughtful and critical contributions 💬 A lively discussion on digital transformation, accessibility and public-sector innovation 🤝 Strong interest in how administrative reform can remain both citizen-centred and inclusive. A huge thank you to Zaim Sari for sharing his expertise and insights, and to all participants for the open, curious, and constructive atmosphere.
