We have received the Notice to Proceed (NTP) for the Cook Strait HVDC Link Upgrade from Transpower New Zealand, marking the full activation of the project’s delivery. The Cook Strait HVDC link is a critical asset for New Zealand’s transmission system, enabling the efficient transfer of energy between the South and North Islands and strengthening the reliability of New Zealand's national grid.
