In celebration of the Daphne Oram Centenary, the PRS Members’ Fund and the Oram Awards are proud to launch a new initiative supporting women, trans, and non-binary music creatives. 🎶✨ Pioneering electronic composer and BBC Radiophonic Workshop co-founder Daphne Oram constantly pushed boundaries. Building on her legacy, we understand that holistic wellbeing is essential for sustaining creativity in the arts. The new Shetland Artists' Retreat offers 10 eligible Oram alumni and PRS for Music members a bursary for a restorative stay at The Weaving Shed Gallery and Airbnb. This pause provides a dedicated space to focus on innovative sound projects and research. We are committed to supporting the mental and emotional wellbeing of our music creators.
