🌏 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 This week, it’s happening. On May 30, our Flevoland delegation Horizon Flevoland, led by King’s Commissioner Arjen Gerritsen, made a working visit to Japan as part of the DUJAT (Dutch & Japanese Trade Federation) trip. A journey focused on connecting, learning, and collaboration. Japan and the Netherlands are long-standing partners and have a unique relationship. From trade via the ancient island of Dejima and knowledge exchange to today’s innovation and technology. And that is exactly what we continue to build on. This week we're focusing on the Japanese companies with subsidiaries in Flevoland.  In Osaka and Tokyo we are meeting with companies that already have strong connections in our region such as Yanmar, Logisnext Europe, Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe B.V., Toshiba Corporation, GIKEN LTD., Yakult Honsha Co., Ltd. These companies invest in our region, contribute to our economy, innovative strength and provide employment opportunities. It is a pleasure to visit them in their country of origin and to strengthen ties with our province.
