The old board ran two processing chips: a TI Sitara CPU and a separate Kintex UltraScale+ FPGA. That architecture had served its purpose, but it was no longer the right foundation for a product built around SDI and ST 2110 from the start. We collapsed that two-chip core into a single AMD Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC, application processors and FPGA fabric on one die. Two 12G-SDI inputs, HDMI, DisplayPort, and the full ST 2110 transport path now live on one board. The client got fewer components, freed board space, and a hardware base ready for the industry's move to IP, delivered as a manufacturing-ready documentation set. ๐Ÿงท Read the full case study: https://lnkd.in/dAUt2wsE #ST2110 #FPGA #Broadcasting #PromwadCase
