We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new community based rehabilitation clinic in Gaza. Tens of thousands of people in Gaza are living with amputations, spinal injuries, and neurological trauma, with almost no access to structured rehabilitation care. In response to this urgent need, the clinic is providing physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pediatric and post-amputation rehabilitation, neurological care, and psychosocial support. Our team operates in an environment where standard rehabilitation equipment is nearly impossible to source. Despite these challenges, clinicians continue to deliver care by developing makeshift tools, and adapting assessments and interventions to local realities. At the same time, we are working to procure essential rehabilitation equipment and assistive devices to strengthen the quality and scope of services available, ensuring patients have access to the support they need. Access to rehabilitation is a fundamental part of recovery. Through this clinic, we are helping people rebuild their physical function, restore their independence, and reclaim their daily lives.
