💧 Mukuanima Village, Kenya 🇰🇪 For many families, the greatest cost of water isn’t measured in money it’s measured in time. In Mukuanima Village, children once carried heavy jerrycans, often making multiple trips to collect water not only for their own families but for neighboring households as well. Across Sub-Saharan Africa, women and children spend an estimated 200 million hours every day fetching water. Imagine what those hours could become if they were spent learning, building businesses, or simply enjoying childhood. Today, with a Project Maji water kiosk serving the community, clean water is closer to home. What has changed isn’t just the distance to a water source. It’s the opportunities that come with reliable access. More time for school. More time with family. More time to build a better future. Clean water doesn’t just improve daily life it creates the conditions for communities to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. #WaterChangesLives #CleanWaterForAll #Keny
