When something goes wrong with your water at home, you don’t panic. You don’t try to figure it out alone. You call someone and you expect it to be fixed. So why does that expectation change in rural communities? Why is access provided… but responsibility slowly fades away? The reality is, delivering water is only part of the job. What truly matters is what happens after when systems need maintenance, when breakdowns occur, when support is required. Because real solutions don’t disappear once installation is done. They stay. They respond. They take ownership for the long term. That’s what builds trust. And that’s what communities actually need. What do you think is missing most in sustaining rural water systems today? #ProjectMaji #WaterAccess #Sustainability #Impact #SDG6 #CommunityDevelopment
