Podcast Recording: the University of Birmingham Dubai: Exploring the Future of Higher Education, Jobs, Skills, and AI On Thursday, I had the pleasure of recording a podcast with my esteemed colleagues from the prestigious University of Birmingham Dubai—Dr. Mona Mustafa, PhD, FCIPD, SFHEA and Dr. Vic Benuyenah [PhD, MBA, BA (Hons) Econ., MCIPD]. I believe the podcast will be an excellent resource for their students, helping them better understand the future of higher education, the jobs and skills of tomorrow, and the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the job market and the future of learning. It is a brilliant initiative and a wonderful example of thinking about students’ needs in a forward-looking way. I have known Dr. Mona since we worked together at the University of Wollongong in Dubai. From the very first day, I knew she would become an exceptional leader. I was also truly happy to record this podcast knowing that the Provost of the University of Birmingham Dubai, my good friend Professor Professor Yusra Mouzughi, is part of such an inspiring academic community.
