I think I lost my smile a lot after the Euros when it came to playing for England, because I donโt know, I felt like I was a little bit mistreated, in comparison to what I contributedโ He then spoke about the joy: โThat camp with a lot of new faces really brought out in the joy me. I think you can see that in the two games.โ Credit must go to head coach, Thomas Tuchel, for creating an environment that generates joyful experiences for the players. Golden State Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr, has previously spoken about joy as being a core pillar within his coaching philosophy. He wants his training facility to be a happy place where players experience joy: "What are the players going to feel everyday when they walk into training, what's the vibe? What are your key values?" - what is important to you as a person, and what do you valueโ He also added: "How can you bring these values to life, so that they felt by the players you coach?" That is, what can you do in your team to ensure that your values are incorporated within the team you coach.โ This highlights the importance of creating an environment where people feel valued and experience genuine joy. When people feel appreciated, wellbeing improves and performance often follows. (๐ฅ: phxeftbl)
