The Smiles 😁 82-year-old triathlete Ed Blumenstock, completed the ‘Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon’ earlier this year. Following a motorcycle accident in 2018, Ed had his left leg amputated below the knee, and has use prosthetics to help him compete. He is sponsored the Challenged Athletes Foundation and competes to inspire other people. Ed looks genuinely happy, and it's a great reminder for all of us to make time for the activities that bring us joy. Whether that's taking on an endurance challenge, walking in the countryside, getting lost in a good book, or spending time with loved ones, we all need to prioritise the things that help us recharge and feel our best. Life is busy, but making time for what brings us happiness isn't a luxury, it's essential. (🎥: escapealcatraztri)
