Recognition 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🦁🦁🦁 Despite the disappointment of Wednesday night's defeat to Argentina, England responded in style by securing victory in the bronze medal match. One of the defining themes of England's World Cup campaign has been togetherness, and that spirit was evident right until the very end. The players made sure that Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club goalkeeper, Jason Steele, was recognised for his contribution by calling him forward to receive a medal. Although Steele wasn't part of the playing squad, he travelled with the team throughout the tournament, playing an important role in training and preparation. As head coach Thomas Tuchel said: "We chose three goalkeepers plus Jason Steele. I want to take the opportunity to thank Jason for being brilliant and thank Brighton for being so co-operative and supportive." It’s a simple gesture, but an important reminder that success is rarely achieved by those in the spotlight alone. Behind every team are people whose hard work, commitment and support make a real difference.
