Legacy Cap #1078 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🦁 What a great idea from The Football Association to award legacy caps to all 1290 players or their families who have played for England. Sir David Beckham, who played 115 times for England, including 59 caps as the captain, received his legacy cap and said some inspiring words to the current England players. This ceremony allowed the current players to celebrate and honour the past, when presenting Sir David with his legacy cap, and also foster an emotional bond. The legacy caps, in which every player is assigned a unique chronological number ensure that the contribution made by every player is never forgotten. Sir David is right, we are very proud of the boys for their performances on the pitch and the way they handle themselves off the pitch. (🎥: England)
