A warm congratulations to Joel Andersson, who has been selected as a Fellow of the American Welding Society (AWS). This prestigious recognition is awarded to individuals whose careers have made significant technical and scientific contributions that advance the welding industry globally. Welding expertise is not only a cornerstone of modern manufacturing — it is also fundamental to understanding and developing additive manufacturing, where material behavior, joining principles and process control are deeply interconnected. Joel’s work strengthens PTC’s ability to bridge these domains and push the boundaries of what Swedish industry can achieve.
