Producing Bioplastics from Sugarcane For generations, agriculture has been a key pillar of Viet Nam’s economy. However, the vast volume of agricultural by‑products generated each year remains underutilized. This could change with the adoption of bioplastic production from sugarcane. A key highlight of this technology is Bio‑LLDPE resin derived from agricultural ethanol, which has a chemical structure and mechanical performance equivalent to conventional petroleum‑based plastics. Packaging manufacturers can integrate this material directly into existing film‑blowing lines without requiring additional investment in new machinery.
