Q2 this year has been yet another busy and rewarding quarter for the Pro MGA team, with opportunities to connect, collaborate and contribute across the Delegated Authority (DA) and wider insurance market. April brought some insightful discussions at Delegated Authority Strategy Day and the Global Insurtech Accelerator roundtable.  May took us to Barcelona for the FASE MGA Rendezvous - one key message resonated with us - MGAs are becoming the innovation engines of European insurance distribution.  Similarly, we saw that echoed at The Biba Conference in Manchester later that same month from Mike Keating, MGAA’s CEO who said that MGAs play a vital role in continuing to shape the future of insurance with an increasing number of MGAs taking stands at that conference.   June brought us to Germany for the Lloyd's Frankfurt market event, which brings together Lloyd’s underwriters and MGAs.  We've seen first-hand how innovation, partnership and specialist expertise continue to shape the future of DA.  For us, one of the highlights of the quarter was supporting the CII Gloucester Dinner, where Pro Global proudly sponsored the event as a Gold Sponsor. It was fantastic to see our own Zakk Powell, a committee member of CII Gloucester, alongside colleagues Oliver Walker and Anna Duffy, celebrating the strength of our insurance community. We took part in the MGAA Next Gen event, MGAs: Serving the Next Generation of Risks, where industry leaders explored the emerging risks, technologies and talent shaping tomorrow's market. Investing in the next generation remains fundamental to the continued success of the MGA sector. A shoutout goes to Vedika for passing her CII Foundation Insurance Test – this is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the commitment our people bring to their professional development every day. 👏 Finally, it was a pleasure celebrating alongside our client United Risk at their recent event, recognising the partnerships that continue to drive innovation and growth across our industry.
