Another successful judging session completed for the European Carton Excellence Award 2026! 🌟📦 As we celebrate the 30th edition of the awards, our expert jury came together to evaluate an impressive range of entries that showcase the creativity, innovation, and sustainability driving the cartonboard packaging industry forward. A sincere thank you to our distinguished judges for their time, expertise, and thoughtful deliberations: Meet the ECEA 2026 Jury: • lotte krekels – Packaging Manager at Carrefour Belgium. With more than 25 years of experience across all facets of packaging, Lotte is dedicated to developing innovative, renewable, and sustainable packaging solutions that meet both consumer and business needs. • Susanne Lippitsch-SL DESIGN – Professor of Industrial Design at FH JOANNEUM Industrial Design and award-winning structural packaging designer. Through her work as both an educator and designer, Susanne has helped shape packaging solutions that successfully balance brand identity, production requirements, sustainability, and user experience. • Satkar Gidda – Branding and Design Consultant and Chair of the Jury. With a career spanning more than three decades in sales, marketing, branding, and packaging design, Satkar brings a unique perspective on how packaging creates value for brands and consumers alike. • Sanjeev Das – Global Packaging Director, Foods and Ice Cream, at Unilever. A packaging engineer with over 20 years of international experience, Sanjeev is a passionate advocate for packaging that combines design, sustainability, technology, and consumer experience.
