Since June 2021, a new CEO, Gerhard Boesch, has headed PrivatBank. His two main tasks are to save leadership and prepare the bank for successful privatization. In the year to come, the CEO of the biggest Ukrainian bank will start implementing a new strategy and operating model. Furthermore, he will strengthen the bank’s corporate culture by modifying its traditions in line with new corporate liability rules and formalizing the bank’s operating controls. Gerhard Boesch follows no specific management style and sees his mission in helping his colleagues to be effective while implementing the plans: «I expect PrivatBank to remain the leader in customer experience provision, as it is the most essential aspect of success. We must meet the needs of our clients and amaze them with the quality of our services. Technology development is a top priority on the agenda».
